Michael P. Kelly represents individuals and corporations in criminal and complex civil actions brought throughout the country. Mike has defended clients in a variety of criminal cases on issues involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), money laundering, conspiracy, tax fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, sanctions, and theft. He has defended financial services institutions and many other companies against a variety of civil claims, including allegations of RICO violations, securities fraud, and other violations of federal securities law, unfair competition, Fair Housing Act violations, consumer fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Mike also has extensive experience in class action matters. Mike has represented clients on matters involving federal forfeiture issues.

Mike has represented clients in connection with federal and state investigations, including those by the United States Justice Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, state attorneys general, and various state administrative agencies. Mike also assists corporations and audit committees in conducting internal investigations and advises clients on issues of corporate governance.

Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Mike with its highest rating in White Collar Crime, Criminal Law, and Litigation.
